1Contact us
Help with the apps, your wallet or a payment: support@mlx.app. We answer within two working days, usually sooner.
Partnerships, press and distributors: contact@mlx.app. Anything else: info@mlx.app.
Please include your wallet name (for example alex.mlx) and, for a Mac, its name as it appears in the app. Never send your recovery phrase: no one at MLX will ever ask for it.

2Start with MLX Node
MLX Node runs AI work and mines MLX Tokens on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 14 or later. Download it, open it, and it lives in the menu bar. MLX Harness carries MLX Node inside and installs it on first run. It walks you through creating or connecting your MLX wallet, sets when it may work, and measures your Mac once.
You control when and how much it works: by default after a few idle minutes, while plugged in, and it stops when the Mac gets warm. Change this any time in its Settings, or from MLX.app on your iPhone or iPad.
3MLX.app for iPhone and iPad
MLX.app shows every Mac linked to your wallet: whether it is working, its speed, jobs and checks passed today, and what your Macs mined. You can pause or resume a Mac, change when it may work, and get a notification when a Mac stops or comes back, plus a short summary each day.
Signing in. Use the passkey of your MLX wallet (the one you made on mlx.app or in MLX Node); it syncs to your iPhone through iCloud Keychain. Without the passkey, use your 24-word recovery phrase. Either way the key stays on your device: MLX.app uses it only to sign requests about your Macs.
No Macs listed? Link a Mac first: in MLX Node, open Settings and connect your wallet. It appears in MLX.app within a minute.
A change hasn’t applied yet. Commands reach your Mac the next time it checks in, within a minute while it is online. If the Mac is asleep or offline, it applies them when it is back.
Notifications. Turn them on in MLX.app’s Settings and allow them when iOS asks. If you declined earlier, allow them in iOS Settings → Notifications → MLX.
Signing out removes the wallet key from that device. Your wallet, seats and Macs are not affected.
4Rewards and dedicated seats
Without a dedicated seat, your MLX Node runs on a free seat and mines up to ~0.0417 MLX/h for its wallet. A dedicated seat multiplies that: a Core seat up to ~0.83 MLX/h, a Pro seat up to ~3.33 MLX/h and an Ultra seat up to ~13.33 MLX/h, when it runs on a Mac of its class. These are maximums; what a Mac earns depends on the time it works and the checks it passes.
Mined MLX is locked for 30 days from the day it is earned on a free seat, or for your seat’s lock-in (3 to 20 days) with a dedicated seat. A seat pays nothing up front: it only raises how fast your Mac mines. See Dedicated seats, Rewards and the Risk Disclosure.
5Your wallet
Your MLX wallet is opened with your passkey or your recovery phrase. We never hold either, so we can’t recover a wallet for you: keep your recovery phrase written down somewhere safe. Open your wallet at wallet.mlx.app.
Deposits, withdrawals and seat purchases are on the public MLX ledger; look any of them up in the Explorer. For a payment that hasn’t arrived, write to support with the transaction or invoice and the wallet name.
6Your data
What the apps and the site collect, and how to see, correct or delete it, is in the Privacy Policy. To delete your data, write to support@mlx.app from the address you use with us, or with a request signed from your wallet. Entries on the public ledger can’t be deleted. The Terms of Use apply to the apps and the site.
