About MLX
What is MLX?
The native token of MLX Network, a community building the largest Apple Silicon network. MLX is mined by the Macs that run AI work, hour by hour, and a dedicated seat sets how fast a Mac mines.
How is the price set?
By the halving curve, not an order book. The network price is $0.01 × 2^(units ÷ 200,000), where one unit is $100 that has entered. Buying moves it up, selling moves it down, and every order is filled by the protocol at that formula.
Spot MLX or a dedicated seat?
Spot MLX is yours right away and costs the curve price plus a premium. A dedicated seat buys no MLX: it lets your Mac mine more, and mined MLX is locked for 3 to 20 days.
Can more MLX be created?
No. All 10 billion were created in block 0 into five public accounts. Every transfer since is on the open ledger.
Where can I buy MLX?
In the MLX wallet: deposit any major coin, which arrives as USDC, then buy MLX or get a dedicated seat. MLX isn't listed on outside exchanges.
Where can I verify all this?
In the explorer and the open data API. Every block is hash-linked and signed, and the full design is in the whitepaper.
